Frequently Asked Questions
What is a result gazette?
A result gazette is the Board's official PDF list of results for an exam. It shows each candidate's roll number with their result, so schools and students can check results in one document.
How do I find my roll number in the gazette?
Open the PDF, then press Ctrl + F on a computer, or use Find in page on your phone, and type your roll number. The gazette is sorted by roll number, so you can also scroll to your range.
Is the gazette the same as my result card?
No. The gazette lists results for all candidates, while your result card shows your own subject-wise marks. For the detailed card, use the Board's online result service with your roll number.
Which years of gazettes are available?
Matric gazettes from 2012 to 2026 and Intermediate gazettes from 2012 to 2026, including annual and supplementary (second annual) exams.
What is the difference between Second Annual and Supplementary?
They are the same kind of exam, held after the annual exam for students who want to pass failed subjects or improve marks. The Board has used both names over the years.
Is this the official BISE Gujranwala website?
No. This is an independent information portal. The gazette PDFs open on the official BISE Gujranwala website.
