BISE Gujranwala Exam Guidelines for Students
Board exams are as much about following the rules as knowing the syllabus. A missing roll number slip, a phone left in a pocket or a wrong roll number on the answer sheet can cause trouble that has nothing to do with how well you prepared. These are the guidelines BISE Gujranwala gives to every Matric and Intermediate candidate, explained simply, with a checklist you can tick off the night before.

Exam Day Rules
- Carry your original Roll Number Slip and photo IDBring the original slip with your CNIC, B-Form or another valid photo ID. Keep a photocopy at home as a backup.
- Reach at least 30 minutes earlyThis gives you time to find your hall and seat number and settle down before the paper is handed out.
- Use only permitted stationeryBlue or black ballpoint pens, a geometry box and other allowed stationery. Nothing else should be on your desk.
- Leave phones and gadgets outsideMobile phones, smart watches and all electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- Write your Roll Number and Subject Code correctlyFill them clearly on the answer sheet. A wrong roll number can delay or affect your result.
- Stay away from unfair meansAny student found using unfair means faces strict disciplinary action as per Board rules.
Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall
Even switched off counts: Do not bring a banned item into the hall at all, even if it is switched off or in your bag. Leave it at home or with a family member outside the centre.

Boys
Proper school or college uniform: trousers and shirt, with a tie where your institution requires it. Neat and tidy appearance.
Girls
Proper school or college uniform with a dupatta or scarf as per the institution's dress code. Neat and tidy appearance.
